Monochrome Melancholy // YMC Pre-Spring

Monochrome Melancholy // YMC Pre-Spring

Oh November, if we are honest you have not been treating us right. You are dark and getting darker (ok not your fault), but also you have produced some horrific weather. It’s not what we want. We are a bit fed up with it and are needing to find things to pick our spirits up. We are feeling melancholy and need some treats.

So, here is Frontiers' guide to fight the November blues:

  • Find a good TV series to get your teeth stuck into. At the moment for a good old laugh we are liking Motherland (BBC) and for something a little darker Giri/Haji also on BBC. Lastly, Philip Pullmans ‘Northern Light Trilogy’ adaptation ( again on BBC, they are on fire at the moment) called His Dark Materials is a fantasy series of greatness.
  • Learning a few more recipes from different cuisines. We are suckers for a little bit of Persian inspired dishes, especially Persian traybakes (Ottolenghi’s are a winner) Also, Italian pasta dishes finished off by giving them a quick fry in a frying pan is a great variation on the classics.
  • Wine. Wine.Wine.

But what is really getting us through is the joy of YMC’s Pre-Sping ’20  collection. Full of simple silhouettes and monochrome black and white tones. All the pieces have comfort and practicality at their core, with a twist on the classics that YMC effortlessly brings. The great thing about the collection is you can work the pieces into your current wardrobe with ease, to bring that much-needed refresh in this limbo month. Both good for your look and your sanity. It also goes without saying that the collection looks great worn together.  So, ladies waddle on in (or click here to check it out online) and let YMC breathe a little bit of fresh air into your wardrobe.
