About Us

Frontiers has long been associated with women’s fashion of the highest quality, having been founded over 25 years ago by designer Jane Forbes. Frontiers aims to find brands that you can live in, are stylish and unique. Building collections that embrace all types of women, giving you confidence in whatever you are doing.

Following the opening of Frontiers Man in 2016 and its recent move to the adjacent corner to Frontiers Woman, a further exciting chapter opened for this iconic Edinburgh West End store. By introducing the same ethos into men's, the two stores offer a carefully selected range of independent labels. Many of which  are exclusive to Edinburgh and Scotland, all housed within spacious and welcoming stores.

WOMAN
Located just off Princes Street in the West End Village. The boutique stocks well known brands, as well as labels that are hard to find. With shoe and accessories collections selected just as carefully as the clothing brands, the store sits on two floors with a dedicated shoe and denim room. Footwear lables include Penelope Chilvers, Fracap and House of Holland, with denim from Jeans DL, Acynectic and Lee.

MAN
The men’s store also benefits from large open display windows and has a little more of a guy feel about it, with iconic album covers and a recently added beer fridge! The steel rails and big zinc top table display a range of well selected independent brands and high-quality products. Sitting proudly opposite the women's store, the men's store stocks many clothing and accessory brands alongside shoes and denims with Fracap and Red Wing in the shoe area and jeans from Nudie, Edwin and Lee 101.

BRAND MIX
Across the two stores the collections include iconic British brands such as Paul Smith and Barbour, alongside other contemporary UK labels such as Folk, Oliver Spencer, Universal Works and YMC. A Scandinavian influence also features  with the likes of Mads Norgaard, Norse Projects and Baum Und Pferdgarten. In addition, there are a handful of great brands from across the pond such as Rails shirts, Corridor NYC, Alex Mill and new for SS19 - Ace and Jig.
